Suhail Nayyar made a cameo appearance as Dishank Chowdhury (Leena Chowdhury’s son) in the 2017 Hindi-language action thriller film Commando 2: The Black Money Trail (or simply Commando 2), a sequel to the 2013 film Commando: A One Man Army.
Alongside Dev Patel, Armie Hammer, Nazanin Boniadi, Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Anupam Kher, Jason Isaacs, and Vipin Sharma, Suhail co-starred as Abdullah in the 2018 action thriller film Hotel Mumbai. The film is inspired by the 2009 documentary Surviving Mumbai about the 2008 Mumbai attacks at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in India.
He played Captain Manit Verma (Bombay Sappers, Para Probie) in the drama web series The Test Case in 2018.
Suhail Nayyar was cast as Nishant Rathee in the 2020 Hindi romantic comedy film Ginny Weds Sunny.
In 2022, he brought to life the character of Sandeep “Rinku” Sharma (Brij Gopal Sharma’s older son) in the Hindi-language comedy-drama film Sharmaji Namkeen. His co-stars for the project included Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Juhi Chawla, Isha Talwar, and Sulagna Panigrahi.
